Thank you so much for your interest in our Nuclear MedicineTechnology program. We offer a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences, with concentration in Nuclear Medicine degree.
■ The Nuclear Medicine Technology Program at the MCG carries a long and valued history within the state of Georgia. Our graduates are valued employees and managers in healthcare settings in Georgia and throughout the US. The extensive baccalaureate education enhances skills of new graduates to make them highly competitive in the employment market. Students have multiple opportunities for clinical education in a variety of settings, and gain skill and knowledge in areas of routine nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, PET, PET/CT, healthcare management, scholarly research, and ACLS training.
■ The NMT program is accredited and in good standing with the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT), and greater than 90% of graduates pass national credentialing examinations.
■ The Nuclear Medicine Technology programs are offered in flexible delivery formats to accommodate busy lifestyles. Clinical affiliates are located in Augusta, Athens, Atlanta and Columbus. Academic course work and clinical attendance require 40 hours per week, regardless of locale.

Your application will be reviewed by Nuclear Medicine Technology faculty after all required materials have been received by the admissions office. Early receipt and completion of your applications is important. It is recommended to begin the application process in early fall for the following August program start date.
