Thank you so much for your interest in our Medical Dosimetry program. We will offer a Master of Health Science degree in Medical Dosimetry in August, 2008, pending Board of Regents of the University Sysytem of Georgia approval . The program has applied to the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology for accrediatation and should have the process completed in 2008-09.


The Master of Health Science in Medical Dosimetry is a post-baccalareate program, which means that the applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, physics, math, computers, or related area approved by the department.

Interviews for the admissions process are by invitation.

The application deadline is May 1. Classes begin each Fall (August) semester only.

If you have completed or will complete all program pre-requisites by August 1, your next step would be to request an unofficial transcript evaluation (to find out if the classes will transfer into core requirements required by MCG), please fax or mail all of your college transcripts to:
