MASTER OF HEALTH SCIENCE IN MEDICAL DOSIMETRY

Mission: Develop technical, clinical and research skills that produce leading medical dosimetry professionals capable of advancing technology in the field of radiation oncology.

Goals:

1) to provide quality education to meet the standards and requirements of the profession.

2) to develop critical thinking, research, and communication skills to become a leading medical dosimetrist.

3) to encourage medical dosimetry students to become active in their profession, and to participate in research to advance the profession.

The Master of Health Science in Medical Dosimetry program has applied for accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. Many technical standards are required for our graduates to be successful in the medical dosimetry curriculum.
