Postdoctoral Services General Information

Established in August 2000 to serve as a central resource and to enhance and support the work experiences of postdoctoral appointees, their faculty mentors, and staff engaged in research and research training. Postdoctoral Fellow Personnel Procedures
Postdoctoral Fellows are trainees who are pursuing research as a vital component of their educational mission and professional career development. As such, the essential purpose of their functions at the Medical College of Georgia is to further their educational and training goals.  As employees, postdocs are also granted certain privileges by the Board of Regents and Medical College of Georgia.  

The Procedures Manual below is intended to assist faculty and their administrative personnel in the recruitment and employment of new postdoctoral fellows.
