About Coordinator University

Coordinator University is an exciting and comprehensive training program sponsored by the Division of Continuing Education, the Office of Human Research Protection and the Office of Clinical Investigative Services.

Successful completion of the program is required for new research coordinators and new research team members performing coordinator duties.  It is designed to provide instruction on all aspects of coordinating a research study at MCG.

These individuals are identifed to the Office of Human Research Protection (OHRP) by MCG Human Resources based on their job title and duties.  They may also be identified by the principal investigator via direct notification to OHRP or by submitted documentation to the Human Assurance Committee (HAC) or Chesapeake Research Review, Inc.

Upon completion of the training program, coordinators will be able to effectively organize and manage a research study at MCG, MCGHI, and the Augusta VAMC.  Coordinator University is also open to experienced coordinators and other research team members!
