  Per Diem Rates Effective July 1, 2007

The following rates will apply for conventional standard 
animal husbandry unless otherwise noted:  
Increase rates 10% annually for budgetary preparation purposes.

Note:  Special requests, which deviate from the standard
procedures for husbandry, will require additional charges or 
an increased per diem rate.  Also, studies that require additional cage changing beyond the standard requirements will result in an 
increased rate.

 Overcrowded Cage Notification       $10.00 per green sticker
 Cage Separation Fee                          $10.00 per cage created plus one hour

  Anesthesia:  injection                         $63.00 
  (includes endotracheal intubation

  inhalation                                            $73.50 for first hour
  Anesthesia monitoring                      $52.50/hour
   and/or Post Operative Care

  Sedation/immobilization:                  $26.25

  Euthanasia: large animal                   $26.25
                  group of small animals      $26.25

 Post-Operative Care: (includes analgesics, antibiotics 
                                             and/or fluids only) $84.00/day

**LAS is not staffed for 24 hour postoperative care**

 Lab/Surgery Cleaning Fee                  $47.25  

Daily Treatment Fee
(Tech time included)  
                           $20.00/day

 Tech Time Rate                                    $33.60

Transport Box (includes bedding, feed, water source & delivery)  60.00/box
