| Common Tasks for Faculty | |
| Login to MCG's PULSE (also known as Banner) | |
Step 1From the MCG home page http://www.mcg.edu, click the MyMCG link.
Step 2On the MyMCG page, click on the PULSE icon.
Step 3From a Groupwise email or documentation received from MCG, enter your MCG NetID in the text field labeled Username. Enter your password in the text field labeled Password. Then click the button labeled Login. Note: Your MCG NetID and password are the same information that you use to access Groupwise and MyMCG. For assistance, please contact the IT Service Desk. Step 4The first time you log in, read the Terms of Usage and click the Continue button. |

| Learn Your Faculty ID Number (PULSE ID) | |
Step 1If not already logged in, login to MCG's PULSE (also known as Banner) using the instructions above. Step 2On the Main Menu, click the Faculty & Advisors link.
Step 3On the Faculty Services menu, click the CRN Selection link.
Step 4Look in the top right corner of the screen and you will see your PULSE ID which is also your Faculty ID Number.

Step 8To see the roster for a different class, use the Back button and begin with Step 3 again or click the CRN Selection link at the bottom of the roster.. |

| View Student Information | |

| Enter Grade Information | |
Step 1If not already logged in, login to MCG's PULSE (also known as Banner) using the instructions above. Step 2On the Main Menu, click the Faculty & Advisors link.
Step 3On the Faculty Services menu, click on the Final Grades link.
Step 4Select the CRN and click the Submit button. Step 5Click to open the Grade pull-down and click the grade made. Click the Submit button.
Step 6Click the back button to select a different class to enter grades for or click the Exit link to log off. |
