Any person receiving a
"Parking Citation" has the right to appeal it within a period of five working
days from the date of issuance. After the five-day period, the right to
appeal expires and all violation charges and/or expenses incurred become
automatically due and payable. Appeals should be made in writing by one of
the following methods:
- Obtaining an Appeals Form from the
Parking Office, complete the form then returning it to Parking Office,
- Downloading the
Appeals Form for PSD online forms,
complete the form returning it
to the Parking Office, or by
- Completing / submitting the
Parking Citation Appeals E-mail
Form.
The Appeals Form
will be
presented to the
Parking Penalty Appeals Committee.
The Committee consists of members of the MCG faculty, staff, administration, and
student body. Its function is to hear and make final decisions on any
parking appeals.
| The decisions of the Parking Penalty
Appeals Committee are final, and are binding upon both the appellant and the
Parking and Transportation Services Bureau. An appeal may be
presented in person upon request. You will be notified by letter following
a decision by the Committee. |
