How can I get a card reader, panic alarm, security system or security camera added to my campus office or building? 

Requestors should submit a Facilities Management IDR requesting an estimate specifically stating what is needed.  It is recommended that a consultation with MCG Physical Security and Facilities Management be requested first.  The requestor's department is required to fund the work in almost all cases.  The requestor should list "MCG Police" as the contact person and 721-8832 as the contact number.

Who do I contact about Found or Lost Property on the MCG Campus? 
 

Lost and Found Property items should be turned-over to the MCG Police Bureau if the owner cannot be immediately found.  To turn-over found items call the MCG Police Bureau at 721-2911.

Items turned-in will be held for ninety days.  Items not claimed within the ninety day period will be disposed of in accordance to established procedures.  For information pertaining to lost property you may contact the MCG Police Bureau Record Section at 721-8112, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except holidays.

How can I get information on MCG Crime Statistics?
  The MCG Police Bureau publishes the MCG Campus Crime Report annually.  This report is posted on the MCG website at www.mcg.edu/psd/Police/Stats.htm for your review.  A copy of the report can be obtained by calling 721-2577.

How do I report an Emergency or Crime on the MCG Campus 
  Report any emergency, criminal offense, or suspicious activity to the MCG Police Bureau  by calling 721-2911, or by walking in to the MCG Police Bureau's Dispatch Office located in the Annex II (HT-building).

How can I get a copy of a Police Report or Motor Vehicle Accident Report filed with MCG Police Bureau? 
  Generally, reports are available for distribution to the public within 72 hours after the event was reported.  To obtain a copy of a report contact the MCG Police Bureau Record Section at 721-8112, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except holidays

Who do I call, if I am involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident on the MCG Campus? 
  You must call the MCG Police Bureau at 721-2911.

Where is the MCG Police Bureau located? 
 

The MCG Police Bureau's Dispatcher and Business Offices are located in the Annex II (HT-building), at 524 15th Street; Augusta, GA.

  For information on employment opportunities at the MCG Police Bureau, contact Ernest Black, Major of Police Administration at 721-2577, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except holidays.
