Protect Your Property!

An unlocked office or valuable items visible creates an appealing target for a thief. The following suggestions will lessen the possibility of your possessions being stolen.

  • Lock your door when leaving an unattended office.

  • Keep valuables locked up. Do not leave property out in the open, where it is visible to any passerby.

  • Write down brand name, model numbers and serial numbers of computer components and other equipment. Have this information available when reporting stolen equipment.

  • Take your keys with you. NEVER leave them in your office, even if you think they are hidden.

MCG and MCG HI policy requires all faculty, employees, contractors and students to visibly wear their MCG/MCG HI photo identification while on campus.

If you see anyone in and around your work area or building who looks suspicious, lost or confused, or just out of place, please call MCG Police immediately!
