Copying Services

Purpose
To present the policies and procedures relative to Copying Services provided by the Institution.

Policy
The Copy Center is operated to serve and assist all budget units with photocopy work and is under the direction of the manager of Copying Services. The main Copy Center is located in HT-1220 (Annex II), hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Copy Center operates a Satellite Copying Service located in the R & E Building, CB-1B5. Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Budget Unit

  1. Prepare a Photocopy Request Card, PS-127, as shown on Exhibit A. Attach the originals to the request and forward to the Copy Center. (Note: The Copy Center will perform all copy work of 15 or more copies up to 2,000 copies. The minimum of 15 copies is waived if the photocopying is a grant or thesis. To insure the best quality possible, originals should be typed on plain white bond paper.
  2. Request an auditron key or copy card for use on the convenience copiers on campus by preparing a PS-127 Card and bring to the Copy Center. Auditron Keys and Copy Cards are not routed through the campus mail service.
  3. Upon receipt of the Request Card (PS-127) for an auditron key or copy card, an ID number is assigned. A Auditron/Copy Card ledger sheet is prepared.

Copying Services

  1. Receive the photocopy request and schedule to meet user wanted date.
  2. Deliver completed photocopying jobs to the user building and room number as indicated on request.
