Dr. Gautam Agarwal, assistant professor of cardiovascular and vascular surgery, completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and a vascular research fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He specializes in treating aneurysms and blood vessel blockages in the legs, abdomen, arms and carotid artery.

 

Dr. Linda Boyd, associate dean for regional campus coordination for the School of Medicine, is a family physician and curriculum development expert. She coordinates regional campus development and operations at the school’s satellite campuses, including its Southwest Georgia Clinical Campus in Albany and its southeast clinical campus at St. Joseph’s Candler Health System in Savannah.

 

Michael Arthur Herbert, executive associate dean for administration in the School of Medicine, serves as the school’s chief business officer, overseeing administrative issues with affiliated health systems. His previous position was associate dean of administration and finance and executive director/treasurer of University Physician Group for Wayne State University School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Stephen H. Mason, assistant professor of dermatology, specializes in skin cancer surgery using Mohs micrographic techniques to minimize tissue loss and maximize cure rates. He completed dermatology clinical research fellowships at Louisiana State University Medical Center, Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital and Tulane University Medical Center.

 

Dr. Daniel J. Sheehan, assistant professor of dermatology, is a former MCG dermatology resident and faculty member who returned after completing a fellowship in dermatolopathology, enabling him to examine biopsies and diagnose a broad spectrum of skin disease.
