Stroke Program Certified
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has awarded the MCG Neuroscience Center of Excellence Stroke Program a certificate of distinction. Certification signifies that the program has met or surpassed standards and criteria defined by the Brain Attack Coalition and adopted by the commission for recognition as a primary stroke center.
The program also is among 30 nationwide to participate in a one-year JCAHO validation of certification standards.
