MCG Health System is among 4,200 hospitals nationwide participating in Hospital Compare (www.HospitalCompare.hhs.gov), a consumer-friendly Web site providing voluntary, hospital-specific data to help consumers make informed choices about health care. The Web site provides quality information about heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia, with additional conditions to be added over time. Hospital Compare is an initiative of the Hospital Quality Alliance, a public-private partnership between government, hospitals and other health care organizations.
