Julianne Chambliss, wife of Georgia Sen. Saxby Chambliss, read to patients recently in the MCG Children’s Medical Center, the Augusta area’s only program site for the nationwide Reach Out and Read program.
Mrs. Chambliss has pledged to visit all 39 of Georgia’s program sites, which serve more than 35,000 children.
