The Pet Gazette

Judy Adams, a retired administration manager in the School of Graduate Studies, adopted Missy from the son of a co-worker in 1994 as a companion to the family’s Siamese cat. There was a lot of hissing for a few days, but as their tolerance grew, the two developed a typical sisterly relationship.

Missy “Missy was the good kid,” says Judy. “She loved to sit at the windows and communicate with nature. She would make cackling noises at the birds and carry on conversations with lizards on the outside of the screen. Unfortunately, she became ill last January and went to ‘kitty heaven.’ Our Siamese grieved as much as my husband and I. She had a wonderfully sweet soul and will always be remembered.”
