Art partnership benefits NICU

The MCG Arts Council unveiled artwork Aug. 24 in the Children's Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit created in memory of Bowen McElreath, a CMC patient from Macon, Ga., who died recently of heart disease. Members of Bowen’s family, NICU staff, CMC administration and the Arts Council joined artists from Ann Marie Dallas' class at Davidson Fine Arts High School as they presented a collection of watercolor bird paintings they had created to brighten the NICU. Students who participated were Italia Alicia, Nicole Bustamante, Erin Downs, Triology Gunby, Anna Hendon, Yao Kang, YiYi Kung, Westin Landis, Ashleigh Anne McKinney, Erica Meideros, Erica Moore, Taylor Morgan, Erica Playford, Autumn Von Plinsky and Yuran Yuan.
