Compliance hotline here for you…it’s your call

Honesty, respect, integrity. These three characteristics are vital to everyone at MCG, MCGHI and PPG. Because what we do is so important to so many, it is essential to make our work environment safe and productive for all. This is where you can assist; it’s your call.

The MCG Compliance Hotline allows anyone in the MCG community, including employees, vendors, contractors, patients and visitors, to report illegal, unethical or noncompliant behavior anonymously. A third-party provider, Global Compliance, has been contracted to supply professional hotline services, ensuring confidentiality and neutrality. Calls may be taken 24 hours a day by interviewers trained to handle sensitive information reliably and discreetly. Callers need never give their name, and no tracking methods are used. It is possible, however, to have a continuing dialogue, if necessary or desired, by way of a password, enabling the person to call back with additional information while remaining anonymous.

When calling, be prepared to provide basic information: a description of the concern, who is involved, and when and where the incident took place. The Compliance Hotline is completely confidential, but the caller has the option to share his or her name and contact information.

Optimizing the work environment allows MCG to foster the best atmosphere to fulfill our mission of improving health and reducing the burden of illness in society. Theft, discrimination, safety, fraud, privacy, security, accounting irregularities and noncompliance of research protocol are serious matters. These and other activities that breach legal and ethical boundaries should be reported to the MCG Compliance Hotline at 1-800-576-6623. It’s your call.
