Veterans Day at Georgia War
Members of the Butler High School Drill Team gave up a school holiday Nov. 10 to participate in Veterans Day ceremonies at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home, affectionately known as the Blue Goose. Guest speaker Regimental Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Barr was joined by Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver in thanking the residents for their service to our country. The Fort Gordon Ceremonial Detachment Color Guard and the U.S. Army Signal Corps Band also participated. (Phil Jones photos)
