Conference attendees
Dr. Adil Ceydeli (left), a chief resident in plastic surgery, and
Obinna Ezeamuzie, a third-year School of Medicine student, attended the
Southern Medical Association’s 100th Annual Scientific Assembly in
Charlotte, N.C. Oct. 12-15, where they gave several oral presentations.
Dr. Ceydeli received the third-place resident-in-training award for his
paper, “When should we order a CT scan to diagnose an acute
appendicitis?” Dr. Jack Yu, chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery,
sponsored and supported their attendance.
