Volunteers needed for Decontamination Team

Imagine a community disaster requiring a large number of people to be decontaminated. MCG Heath, Inc. is preparing for such an occasion by assembling a team of 24 volunteers—current employees from any shift and any department (especially non-clinical staff), half male and half female, with a waiting list if necessary.

The team will drill quarterly and be on call approximately one week out of every six. Members should be in good physical condition and will be screened prior to acceptance. Permission from the employee’s supervisor/director is required.

An informational meeting will take place June 1 from 9-10 a.m. in the small auditorium of MCG’s Auditoria Center. Contact Missi Neskorik, ext. 1-9211, for more information.
