SCCC Flyer - Say Yes This YearReaching out to help

Medical College of Georgia employees donated over $54,000 to the 2006 State Charitable Contributions Campaign titled “Say Yes This Year – Picture the Results.”

“We appreciate the support of those who contributed to this campaign,” said Justin Pittman, 2006 campaign chair and director of the Division of Auxiliary Services. “These dollars change the lives of people across the state and our nation.”

In 1982, the Georgia General Assembly established the annual campaign to enable state employees a convenient means to contribute to participating charitable organizations through payroll deductions. Employees can make unrestricted donations or contribute to a specific organization. Independent and federated charities supported by the campaign provide health, welfare and educational programs to individuals across Georgia. Last year, University System of Georgia employees donated $1.14 million of the campaign’s $2.50 million total.

For more information about the campaign, visit the Georgia Merit System’s Web site, www.gms.state.ga.us/employee/sccp2000.asp
