Martha Wilson, research manager in the Georgia Prevention Institute, sent this photo of her three “girls:” Scoop (from left), Bear and Molly. “All three are rescues that I found as puppies. Bear was wandering the woods.  Molly, her mother and other litter mates were living in a sewer. With help, I got them all out and kept Molly. Scoop was living in a wooden crate with about 13 other dogs and puppies at an abandoned trailer park. I found them just after the bad ice storm of two winters ago. I love my girls and feel very blessed to have found them.” Ms. Wilson is an assistant dog trainer for the Palmetto Dog Training Club in Aiken.
