Right to Know training change

MCG employees are no longer required to complete Basic Right to Know Training each calendar year.

The online training to familiarize University System of Georgia employees about the importance of working safely with hazardous materials is required only for newly hired employees as of January 2006. New staff will take the training as part of their in-processing through the MCG Human Resources Division. New faculty should take the training online at www.usg.edu/ehs/training/rtkbasic/.

Annual training requirements for those working with chemicals or unfixed human or non-human primate (blood, fluid, tissues) are still in place.

Links for annual Right To Know refresher training are:

For more information, contact Kenneth Erondu, chemical safety officer in the Division of Environmental Health and Safety, at ext. 1-2663 or at kerondu@mcg.edu.
