New IT Service Desk

Over the summer, ITSS combined the Campus Help Desk, formerly located in the Annex, and the Student Help Desk into one conveniently located IT Service Desk with expanded hours and services. This new centralized computer troubleshooting service is available Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in room 147 of the Greenblatt Library and provides free walk-in, face-to-face computer assistance for faculty, staff and students.

David Wardlaw, customer service manager for ITSS, leads eight technicians offering help with software installation, login and password issues, operating system troubles, wireless configuration and spyware, adware and virus problems on PC and Macintosh laptop and handheld computers. The Service Desk is a distribution point for site-licensed software, serves as a liaison to other campus support units and offers brief tutorials on supported software features.

For more information, contact Mr. Wardlaw at ext. 1-3078.
