Application Procedure

Trainees accepted each year:
    3 General Neurology
    1 Pediatric Neurology

Application deadline:
    Oct. 15th of previous year

Requirements:
Medical College of Georgia requires J-1 VISA, the department of neurology requires a score of 200+ and applications are accepted through ERAS. Although we cannot guarantee placement, MCG does offer PGY-1 internship. Valid ECFMG certificate required by start date of internship.

Georgia law requires that a "Pre-Employment Drug Screen Request" Form must be signed before an applicant can be considered for employment. Testing is done at no expense to the individual and occurs before the start of the residency.
