Augusta is located in eastern Georgia, at the verge between the Piedmont and the Low Country. You will find Augusta where Interstate 20 crosses the Savannah River. Augusta lies on the south side of the river, which separates Georgia from South Carolina. Augusta is served by Bush Field Municipal Airport, which is about 15 minutes by car south of the medical center. Augusta is roughly 2-1/2 hours by car from Atlanta, GA and 1-1/4 hours from Columbia, SC. The Medical Illustration Graduate Program is located on the ground floor in Pavilion III (also known as the CJ Building) on Laney-Walker Blvd., near 15th St. The links below will take you to an excellent set of maps with directions for locating the campus and our program. If you need further assistance, please call us at 706-721-3266.
