Find Journal HoldingsOne of the most common uses of GIL@MCG is to locate the Library's journal holdings. Databases and journal endnotes will either generate full or abbreviated Journal titles (bolded): McLaughlin, T., Abbasi, F., Cheal, K., Chu, J., Lamendola, C., & Reaven, G. (2003). GIL accepts both full and abbreviated Journal titles:
Quick Search (find all words) Exact Search( Search in: Journal Title)

In GIL Quick Search, when the default setting "find all words" is selected and "GO" is pressed, GIL automatically inserts plus symbols before each keyword term to indicate the keyword search must retrieve records with all terms:
Full and abbreviated journal titles may be searched in Exact Search's Journal Title field.
