Saving Citations From OVID

Web Interface
  1. Complete the search from within Ovid and display the set you want to save. 
  2. Scroll down to the Citation Manager
  3. Mark radio boxes for “All in this set", “Citation + Abstract + SubjectHeadings” and “Reprint/Medlars” as noted in the above example.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Give the file a name and save it to floppy or an appropriate directory on your hard drive.
Direct Export
  1. Complete the search and display the set you want to save.
  2. Scroll down to the Citation Manager.
  3. Mark radio boxes for “All in this set, “Citation + Abstract + Subject Headings” and “Direct Export”
  4. Click Save.
  5. Choose the Endnote Library you would like to import the selected citations into.
