EndNote 7.0 Preferences
Customize EndNote 7.0 by editing EndNote "preferences":
Edit > Preferences (Fig. 15)
Notable preferences are:
Library - designate with EndNote Library
opens when EndNote is started.
Display Fonts - choose font style and size.
Reference Types - designate a default reference type
such as "Journal Article" or "Book."
Formatting - choose some rules for setting up bibliographies.
Display Fields - choose which five fields are displayed in the
EndNote Library window.
Duplicates - choose how rigorously EndNote will filter and match
EndNote Library duplicate references.
Term Lists - choose the level of consistency of words and phrases
in references.
Choose preferences; click Apply; click OK.
