Toolbar menu for EndNote 7.0 consolidates commands Text, Terms, and Paper from EndNote 5.0 and places those in the Edit or Tools menus in EndNote 7.0
Insert a single Picture or Object (like a chart or table) into an EndNote Library record's "Image" field and supply a caption in "Caption" field. Search for caption text (and find the EndNote record containing the picture) using EndNote's Search command.
Manuscript Templates from MS Word are available in EndNote 7.0's Templates folder. The templates are for common manuscript styles and have a wizard to assist with setup.
EndNote 7.0 has some limited interface with handheld devices: one EndNote Library may be copied to a handheld, EndNote Libraries may not be created in a handheld, the EndNote Library must reside in the main memory of the handheld, and references (not whole EndNote Libraries) can be beamed to another handheld having the required EndNote software.
EndNote loads Open URL information into references for electronic links to sources. Examples: links to PubMed MEDLINE records or to full-text links in ScienceDirect.
