Sending Email to a FAX Machine

GroupWise has the ability to send email to a fax machine as long as the FAX machine has a direct line (i.e. no menu system to go through).

Here's How:
  1. Click on Send New Mail
  2. In the "To" section, type: faxprt:fax#/Name

    For example, faxprt:17753/John Doe
    Note: faxprt must be in lower case. Type off-campus numbers just as you'd dial them, with an 8 or 9 prefix

  3. Complete the Subject and Message sections
  4. Send
