We processed the labels in three sets: Regular Employees, Retirees, and all other employees who needed mailings sent to their home address (leased and prison employees). Labels and form letters concerning past contributions were given to the SCCC committee to be mailed along with contribution forms. When the forms were returned to MCG they were processed by the comptroller’s office (checks and cash deposited) and sent to Internal Audits who entered the details into the table. They forward it to the United Way office in Atlanta. Before the first payroll of the new calendar year, a file is provided to the programming staff so that the Charity deduction amount field in PS can be populated.
