Your password will need to be reset every 90 days.

You will be able to reset your password, using any of the following:

  • Enterprise e-mail client (go to Tools, Options, click the security icon)
  • Novell client (Ctrl, Alt Delete and choose Change Password)
  • Self Service Website
  • Web Access (go to Options on the upper right side, middle icon)

About your netID password

An e-mail notice from " ITService@mcg.edu" to notify you when your MCG netID password is about to expire will go out 14, 7, 2 and then 1 day before your password expires.

What this means to MCG computer users:

  • you will be prompted to reset your password every 90 days
  • previous passwords are stored and can not be reused
  • minimum password length will be 8 characters
  • must include at least one letter and one number
