Campus McGeek

Where's McGeek Contest

There's a new man on campus, but he's lost.

McGeek, this year's Tech Fair mascot, is having trouble finding his way to the Tech Fair. If you can help him, he may be able to help you win a tech fair t-shirt.

Beginning today, Feb. 20, if you spot McGeek somewhere on campus, go to the Tech Fair Web site, http://www.mcg.edu/techfair/ and tell us where and when you saw him. You never know where you'll find him - he could be on your shuttle bus, studying in the library or eating in the Student Center.

The names of those people who spot the geek will be entered for weekly T-shirt drawings until March 5. If you win a shirt, wear it to the fair and get a tech fair souvenir.

Each year, the Medical College of Georgia Tech Fair introduces students, faculty and staff to the latest technology related to all facets of the institution's work.  In 2006, organizers and vendors were able to reach more than 1,000 people on campus.

The goal of the tech fair has always been to demonstrate how much technology can enhance patient care, research and teaching -- all important to each MCG audience -- in a fun and functional way.

The 6th annual MCG Tech Fair will be held on March 12 in the Wellness Center.
