Nexic - GroupWise client conduit for PDAs

Which items are synced to your handheld device is determined by the Nexic - GroupWise Client settings.

To view the settings dialog, do the following:

  • Click on the HotSync manager icon in the system tray
  • Choose custom.
  • Double-click on the "Nexic - GroupWise Client" conduit.

On the environment tab make sure the HotSync Action is set to "Synchronize the mailboxes."

To capture any problems create a log file.

To create a log file:

  • Click on the HotSync manager icon in the system tray.
  • Choose custom.
  • Double-click on the "Nexic - GroupWise Client" conduit.
  • Click on the About tab.
  • Make sure the Enable Logging check box is checked.
  • Perform a HotSync.

The log file will be created in a directory named "Palm Client" underneath the directory you installed Synchronis to. By default this would be: "C:\Novell\GroupWise\Nexic\Palm Client"

While logging is turned on, a new log file will be created in this directory each time a HotSync operation is performed.
