Find processor speed, memory and operating system

• Right click on My Computer icon on the desktop.
• Select Properties.
• Select General tab at top. This will display the version of operating system, CPU processor speed (i.e., Pentium 4 2.2 GHz.), and memory.

To Find Hard Drive Capacity

• Double click on My Computer icon on the desktop.
• Right click on your local disk drive C:
• Select Properties
• Select General tab at top. This screen will display the hard drive capacity.
  
  

For Macintosh OS 9.x or below

• Click on the Apple in the top left hand corner
• Go to About This Computer
• This screen will display

For Macintosh OS X

• Click on the Apple in the top left hand corner
• Go to About This Mac
• This screen will display
