How to configure POP and IMAP clients

You now have the capability to both send and receive e-mail from on-campus and off-campus using campus POP, IMAP and SMTP servers. You must set up your e-mail client to the  following specifications to take advantage of these capabilities.

• The incoming mail server when using POP is pop.mcg.edu
• The incoming mail server when using IMAP is imap.mcg.edu
• For the Outgoing/SMTP mail server utilize smtp.mcg.edu which requires authentication (GroupWise user name and password).
