The Life Sciences Business Development Center ("LSBDC") is located in the center of the research corridor on the MCG campus. Housed in the Interdisciplinary Research Building Phase II, it will offer full ancillary services:

The LSBDC has 5 suites, each of which will have a large wet
lab (720 sq ft), a clean room (180 sq ft), and 2 offices (115 sq ft each).
This will provide a total of 1,130 sq ft for each company, which will be
supplemented by several common use rooms:

The Labs and common areas are outfitted with major and minor lab equipment ranging from freezers and laminar flow hoods to centrifuges and water baths. The furnishings and equipment have been provided by a OneGeorgia grant to the Georgia Medical Center Authority, which is making the items available to our entrepreneurs.
