Human Resources Employee Relations |
|
|
Welcome to the Employee Relations web page of the Medical College of Georgia's Division of Human Resources website. Our goal is to foster a positive work environment by providing guidance and assistance to employees and managers in administering MCG's policies and procedures. Through doing so, we remain dedicated to promoting a cohesive, effective, and high performing work environment while remaining focused on the Mission, Vision and Values of MCG.
Essentially, Employee Relations is concerned with preventing and resolving employee issues that may affect work situations. We also provide information on Alternative Dispute Resolution and Grievance procedures. HR professionals are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to speak with you confidentially about individual or organizational needs.
For Employees
Employee Relations will provide guidance and advice on HR policies and assist employees in resolving a variety of workplace concerns such as work environment issues, conduct expectations, communication problems, policy interpretation, or any other general guidance related to employment at MCG.
For Management
Employee Relations will assist managers and supervisors with performance management, including the annual Performance Appraisal process, conduct and performance expectations, progressive disciplinary process, or other employee concerns that may arise. Training on performance management and corrective action is also available.
