"Open Enrollment" is an annual time period when benefits-eligible employees are able to make changes to the plans they participate in.
For your convenience, this section provides the appropriate documents to request changes for the upcoming year.
Beginning with plan year 2010, employees will only be allowed to make changes in their group insurance coverage within 30 days of their hire date or within 30 days of a qualifying event, such as birth or adoption of a child, marriage, divorce or other such event.
If changes are not made within 30 days of a qualifying event, Open Enrollment is the only time the employee may make changes.
