Administering Tests to Applicants
         
 
1.0   Purpose: To present the procedures for how applicants will be tested for positions that require testing.

2.0 Note: Internal applicants will be administered tests after they have bid on a position and it is determined that they have met the minimum qualifications for this position.  Tests which we have available are located at this website address: http://www.mcg.edu/hr/Employment/TestDesc.htm

The department and HR Classification, Compensation and Recruitment determines which tests are
     required.

3.0   Procedure: Administering Tests to Applicants            

3.1   Responsibility: Classification, Compensation and Recruitment

3.1.1         Posts the requirements for all positions to include testing if necessary.

3.2   Responsibility: Applicant

3.2.1         Applies for position.

3.3   Responsibility: Classification, Compensation and Recruitment

3.3.1         Informs applicant testing is required and schedules appointment..

3.4   Responsibility: Applicant

3.4.1         Takes the necessary tests.

3.5   Responsibility: Classification, Compensation and Recruitment

3.5.1         Informs the applicant of the results.
