Many Molecular Medicine faculty are housed in the state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Research Building and its newly completed extension on Laney-Walker Boulevard. Other participating faculty are located in the adjacent Sanders Research & Education Building and other nearby buildings.

Other shared facilities include a laboratory for biosafety level two (BL2) virus work and for expression and purification of recombinant proteins form bacterial and viral vectors. A Biacore-X surface plasmon resonance instrument is available for measuring real-time, intermolecular binding. Also available is a single quadrupole, ion-electrospray mass spectrometer. |
