Many Molecular Medicine faculty are housed in the state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Research Building and its newly completed extension on Laney-Walker Boulevard.  Other participating faculty are located in the adjacent Sanders Research & Education Building and other nearby buildings.

IMMAG and the Center for Biotechnology and Genomic Medicine administer many of MCG's extensive core facilities, including:

Cell Imaging Core Facility
Electron Microscopy Core Facility
Flow Cytometry Core Facility
Genomics Core Facility
Histopathology Core Facility
Laser Capture Microdissection Core Facility
Mouse Embryonic Stem Cell and Transgenesis Core Facility
Proteomics Core Facility
Transgenic Zebrafish Core Facility

 Other shared facilities include a laboratory for biosafety level two (BL2) virus work and for expression and purification of recombinant proteins form bacterial and viral vectors.  A Biacore-X surface plasmon resonance instrument is available for measuring real-time, intermolecular binding.  Also available is a single quadrupole, ion-electrospray mass spectrometer.
