Gift Types:  Annual Giving

annual giving

Annual giving is important to the Medical College of Georgia for many reasons, but two stand out. First, annual gifts are largely unrestricted, which means your gift can go directly toward the bottom line for the university and its schools and programs. Second, annual gifts can conveniently be made through campaigns or bank drafts.  By making contributions from year to year, a donor may use annual giving to support one or several areas of the university. A donor may also earmark all or a portion of an annual gift for the general purposes of the university. In addition to the university’s five academic schools, many other worthwhile programs rely on annual giving from alumni, parents and friends.
