The Medical College of Georgia seeks an energetic and enthusiastic clinical co-director for its newly launched Vision Discovery Institute developed to engage in high impact research and discovery related to visual function and disease.
We invite applications from outstanding clinician-scientists for a faculty position at the rank of Professor of Ophthalmology. The individual will work with our basic science co-director and interact with our existing group of 23 faculty members who have research expertise in retinal diseases, corneal pathology, glaucoma and low-vision rehabilitation. Applicants should have a strong record of publications and extramural funding and must be board certified in ophthalmology.
The incumbent will be provided research space, a competitive start-up package to establish their research laboratory and salary commensurate with experience.
