Medical College of Georgia School of Nursing is seeking an outstanding
executive to lead the School's research initiatives. This position is an
Endowed Chair and will also include a ranked appointment (Associate or Full
Professor) in one of our three departments: Biobehavioral Nursing, Health
Environments and Systems, and Physiological and Technological Nursing. The
Associate Dean will partner with the Dean and SON executive team to advance
the School's research agenda and facilitate growth of the research
enterprise. The successful candidate will also serve as a member of the
School's senior leadership and actively participate in formulating strategic
direction for nursing research.
A minimum of a research doctorate is required along with an established
record of research, academic experience, experience in faculty mentorship
