Description: The department of Neurology
is recruiting two board certified neurologists with additional training in
epilepsy and neurophysiology at an accredited institution. We are
recruiting at the associate or professor level to be named Director of the
MCG Comprehensive Epilepsy Surgery Program and at the assistant professor
level. The Medical College of Georgia Epilepsy Surgery Program is one
of the most active and oldest epilepsy programs in the US, having been
established as a Comprehensive Epilepsy Center in 1976. We currently
have two epileptologists, two functional neurosurgery faculty, and a
dedicated six bed inpatient unit. Clinical responsibilities include
patient care and inpatient and outpatient EEG interpretation (including
intra-operative monitoring and evoked potentials, in addition to teaching,
administration and research. Both positions can be tenure track
appointments.
