Description: The Respiratory Therapy Department at the Medical College of Georgia is conducting a search for three full-time, twelve-month faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor through Professor for our CoARC/CAAHEP accredited B.S. program.
The program has moved into a new, state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building and is looking for faculty who want to be a part of one of the most dynamic and rigorous RT programs in the nation. Our primary mission is providing education that prepares students for success as leaders within the profession and practice of respiratory care. Our success is evidenced by:
Help us lead the profession as we implement an online Associate-to-Bachelor degree completion program and develop an entry level Masters of Health Sciences program in Respiratory Therapy as well as delivering our traditional baccalaureate program to satellite locations. Become part of our faculty team who are actively engaged in clinical and professional service through an Allied Health Faculty Practice Plan.
Minimum qualifications include Master’s degree, RRT credential, and four years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two years of respiratory therapy teaching and clinical experience. Experience in web-based teaching, curriculum design, and program development is desirable.
