Description: Medical College of Georgia Cancer Center (MCGCC) and the
Section of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine invites applications
from clinical investigators with a strong interest in clinical/translational
research in Hematologic or Cutaneous Malignancies, or in Head & Neck,
Gastrointestinal, Breast, Thoracic and Genitourinary Cancers. The successful
candidates will be expected to develop an independent clinical research
program, utilizing the excellent translational research infrastructure. This
includes molecular profiling and analysis of banked tumors and a
well-supported phase I/II Clinical Trials Unit. The successful candidates
will participate in multi-disciplinary outpatient team care and attend on
inpatient service. They will also be involved in the teaching of
Hematology/Oncology fellows, medical residents and students. Applicants
should have an MD or MD/PhD and should be BE/BC in hematology or oncology.
