Finance Committee

Composition

The Finance Committee shall consist of the officers of the Executive Committee with the Secretary-Treasurer serving as Chair and the Vice President for Finance.

Authority

The MCG Faculty Finance Committee is a subcommittee of the Executive Committee and prepares an annual budget for the activities and functions of the University Faculty Senate. It seeks funds for faculty recognition, social relations and other faculty needs.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare the institutional annual budget request for the University Faculty Senate by December  l.
2. Recommend whether a voluntary contribution shall be sought from faculty members for Faculty Affairs and Social Activities.
3. Submit request for support to Georgia Health Sciences Foundation by December 30.
4. Prepare annual financial report by July 1.
5. Review and revise this list of responsibilities.
